Flagler County Kiwanis Club working with the Wheels In Motion Car Club has greatly expanded the car clubs efforts to provide scholarships for high school seniors.

With financial help from Kiwanis Wheels In Motion is now part of the effort to provide twelve local students with scholarships for trade schools and college. The car club committee worked with Kiwanis to process the selection of students. Kiwanis supported the car clubs idea to give scholarships to students who are going to trade schools in addition to college bound seniors. But it was the financial help from Kiwanis that made the entire effort possible.

Members of both organizations went out to students homes to present the scholarships in person. Wheels in motion president Dennis McDonald said the parents and students were very appreciative of the efforts by Kiwanis and the Car Club. He said the changes to include students who attend trade schools made a big difference and broadened the chance of all seniors from  both high schools to receive scholarships
